We are the "ICTadventures".

We are students from the "ICT in Education" course and we chose "Tourism" as our group project. Our groupname is "ICTadventures".
The reason why we chose “Tourism” as our project differ from each other, from being passionate about travelling to being curious about the subject, but the main reason is the same. And that is to elevate the tourism scene in Suriname to higher levels that hopefully will cause the economy to grow and putting Suriname on the “Tourism World Map”. The dream is to make Suriname “the” destination to go on vacation, while far fetched, hopefully will come true someday.

Priscilla was born on the 30th of November 1983 and is a proud mother of a three year old son. She graduated from IOL and got her teachers degree in History (MOA Geschiedenis). In 2007 she taught History, ICT and English at a secondary school in the interior of Suriname and in 2014 she enrolled into the "ICT in Education" course.

Rina was born on the 10th of june 1984. She's married and has two adorable boys. She is a teacher at a primary school in the 6th grade. Teaching is for her a suitable job because she has extra time for her own business after work. Baking is her hobby and her parttime job.She always wanted to teach differently, that's why she choose for ICT in Education. Being busy with children and teaching them all kinds of things that they can use in the future is her goal,

Sharrel was born on Sunday November 17th 1968 at 2:15 pm at the St. Vincent Hospital in Paramaribo. She started her teaching career in January 1992 at a primary school. In 2004 she began teaching the subject “Computer Skills” at a secondary school (LBGO ). From 2006 till 2014 she had a part time slot, teaching Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the IMEAO-1, a Secondary Senior school

Julian's birthday is on the 12th of june. He is 33 years old. He is a teacher at a secondary school and he teaches “Computer Skills” for 4 years now. He likes teaching because he loves helping others.

Elsalin was born on the 10th of July 1975. She is married and has two girls. Kemper is her married name. She started her teaching career in October 2004. She chose the teachers profession because she thinks it is the best job for a women to have as a career, plus a little extra time to spend with her children. Since 2004 she teaches the subject “computer skills” at a secondary school.

Perwin was born on the 10th of April 1980. He is a History teacher at the R.D. Simonsschool. The R.D. Simonsschool is a secondary school situated in the heart of Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname. He started working as a teacher in October 2003 at Mulo Latour, a secondary school in the south of Paramaribo. He's convinced that everyone should know their history. He believes that a person who doesn't know his/her history is a lost man.By knowing your history you can build a better future. He also has a second job as a wedding videographer. Shooting weddings in the weekend is not only a job for him, but a passion.
